MPM Bridge Adjusters
BASS BRIDGE SCREWS MANUFACTURED ACCORDING TO THE MPM PRINCIPLE:

Developed in close collaboration with the Austrian inventor Franz Moser, the MPM bridge mechanism allows for easy adjustment of the height of the bridge and, simultaneously, it creates a flexible connection between the bridge and the bridge feet.

Fluctuations in temperature and humidity are always corrected by the flexible bridge feet. Moreover, the string height can be adjusted to the musician’s requirements at any time.

EASE OF PLAYING:

The string height can be adjusted independently on both sides of the bridge considerably relaxing the string tension. Extremely smooth-running adjusting wheels provide for easy and precise handling.

SOUND:

The flexible MPM bridge screws guarantee a perfect and lasting fit between the top of the instrument and the bottom surface of the bridge feet, which is an essential condition for any bowed instrument to unfold its full sound.
In addition to this, the flexible bridge feet leave more space to the top of the instrument when it vibrates.


ASSEMBLING:

The MPM-bridge mechanism can be easily fitted on ’cut-up’ bridges. With the MPM bridge mechanism the MPM bridge screws can be swiftly and exactly assembled. Yet the assembling should by all means be carried out by a violin maker.
